Biography
Nur Shahila binti Amir Amzah was born on August 13, 1990. She most popularly known by her commercial name Shila Amzah, is a Malaysian singer. The daughter of famous 1980s era Malaysian singer ND Lala, she was the runner-up of the second season of One in a Million in 2007 and the winner of Asia New Singer Competition in 2008. In 2012, she became the champion of the inaugural season of the Chinese reality competition, Asian Wave which is similar to The Voice.


Career
1995  Her first song entitle "jenguk-jenguklah anak kita" featuring with NDlala her father.

2000  Shila Amzah first album launched in front of Tun Dr. Siti Asmah. 

2004  Sila wrote her song by herselft.The song is "Yang Teristimewa".

2009  Shila Amzah join One in a Million, and signed a contract with Monkey Bone for teenagers album.

2010  Shila courted by producers, Kevin Chin for recording the song in collaboration for 3 Suara.

2011  She produced new song entitle "Patah Seribu".

2012  Shila Amzah became the champion of Asian Wave, a Chinese reality singing talent show held in Shanghai.

2012  She was chosen to be in the opening act for a series of concerts by Eric Moo, a Malaysian award-winning singer-composer, in Beijing.

2012  Shila Amzah will be collaborating with Wang Leehom. Shila Amzah's manager was planning to include all of the songs Amzah sung at the Asian Wave in an album soon.

2012  Shila Amzah was listed as one of the leading nominees in the World's Best Female Artist together with Siti Nurhaliza & World's Best Entertainer of The Year categories, beating other nominees in World Music Awards 2012.

2013  A glorious year for Shila when also nominated in the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards categories Asian Favourite Act with PSY (South Korea), Han Geng (China), and Sarah Geronimo from the Philippines who also listed.

Shila Amzah admitted at the beginning of her involvement in the entertainment field, whom she was unable to deal with the camera. "The lowest level about my previous confidence when confronted with a camera, I do not know how it used to communicate with the audience when to start the show."

Biography
Dato' Seri Siti Nurhaliza binti Tarudin was born 11 January 1979 in Berek Polis Kg. Awah, Temerloh where she is the fourth child in a family of eight siblings to Tarudin Ismail and Siti Salmah Bachik.. She is a Malaysian singer, songwriter, record producer, television presenter and businesswoman. She had won many such award and title either in Asia or International. She comes from a musically inclined family; her brother, Saiful Bahri Tarudin, and her sisters Siti Norsaida and Siti Saerah are also singers. Her grandfather was a famous violinist, and her mother was a famous local traditional singer. From the age of 13, she followed her uncle to invitational shows like wedding ceremonies and dinner parties to give her exposure performing live. She also involved in many performances at school even since she in kindergarten.  She was an athlete in school and active in sports.

Career

Siti Nurhaliza's family performed at many public local ceremonies in their hometown, such as weddings and public soirées. At the age of 12, Siti began to learn traditional songs from her mother and went on performing that genre of music during special occasions and events.She also was the vocalist for 'Family Group', a small band founded by her uncle, Abdul Rahim Bachik.

 Siti first competed in the 1995 RTM Bintang HMI competition where she auditioned with a song made famous by Ruth Sahanaya, Kaulah Segalanya.

 She was granted a contract with Suria Records after making a decision over four offers from different international recording companies, including offers from Sony Music, BMG Music and Warner Music In 1996.

 In 1997, Siti started to become a well-known figure in Indonesia's music industry when her story appeared in one of the most popular magazines in Indonesia, POS Kota, in April 1997's edition.

In 1998, at the early age of 19, she launched her own company on January 12, Siti Nurhaliza Productions (M) Sdn. Bhd. which acts as the official management production to handle and manage her schedule.

Siti made her first and biggest appearance on the international stage during the 1998 Commonwealth Games which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

On December 1999, Siti received one of her first international winnings from an international singing competition when she took part in 'Shanghai Asia Music Festival 1999' that was held in China, where she managed to win the Gold Award for the Asia New Singer Competition.

She took part in 'South Pacific International Song and Singing Competition 1999' held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia and she won the Pop Winner title beating contestants from all over South Pacific and 'Top 40 for International Song' category through her single, We'll Be As One.

Siti took part in 'Voice of Asia 2002' which was held in Kazakhstan where she performed one of her singles from her third album, Purnama Merindu and managed to grab the Grand Prix Champion title, the ultimate prize.

Siti was the first non-Chinese artiste to be invited to perform at the 15th Golden Melody Awards, Taiwan in 2004.

In 2004 also her company Siti Nurhaliza Production (M) Sdn. Bhd. (SNP) produced television programs. With the first musical program Muzikal Aidiladha (Musical of Eid Al-Adha) in conjunction with the Eid Al-Adha.

In 2005, she was dubbed as The Voice of Asia, when Alicia Keys first introduced her with the title during the MTV Asia Aid in 2005 held in Bangkok, Thailand due to her powerful vocal, and her outstanding achievements locally and internationally.

In 2007, She made her first appearance at the Grammy Award for the red carpet session on February 11, 2007 where she was the first Malaysian to walk the red carpet.

In 2008, Siti held one of her first solo acoustic concert at the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore.

Siti's back to business where she announced her major three days concert at the Istana Budaya, SATU Konsert Eksklusif Dato' Siti Nurhaliza. It began in 2009 at Kuala Lumpur.

 In 2010, she performed at Konsert Bagaikan Sakti which was held in Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Singapore alongside Malaysian producer-composer-songwriter, M. Nasir which also was broadcasted live through Astro Box Office Events (Channel 955) on January 1, and the repeat show from 2nd till 10 January.

On 2011, she launched her own beauty and cosmetic products under the name SimplySiti. The products underwent research and development in Korea, and are incorporated with Nanotechnology before receiving approval of Halal status by JAKIM.

On January 28, 2012 she received the Anugerah Ikon (Icon Award) by (APPMH) 2011/12 (Media Hiburan Readers' Choice Awards 2011/12.

On November 11 2012, she performed a 2-hour concert at Grand Ballroom, Bukit Gambang Resort City in Gambang, Pahang where it was attended by more than 5000 people including her fans from Indonesia and Singapore and the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah.

She is also worth more than RM50 million and it's believed that her wealth has increased every year and moreover, she was named as one of the millionaires in entertainment in South East Asia as well.
